The Armitage Shanks Peninsular close-coupled toilet pack is suitable for use in a Changing Places toilet room where users may need to transfer from the left or right side of the toilet.
The close-coupled toilet pack includes the necessary hinged support and static grab rails needed to help the user and their carer. A full Peninsular Care pack (S0682-C) is also available which includes a wall-mounted wash basin.
In a Changing Places toilet and changing room, the toilet should protrude out into the room like a "peninsular" at least 1 metre away from the walls on either side. By creating a gap on either side of the toilet a wheelchair user can comfortably transfer with or without assistance from carers.
This pack includes the toilet, cistern and necessary grab rails required to achieve a Peninsular Toilet. Choose from blue, white or grey grab rail colours.
